Draft for review — revised September 22, 2026. The historical effective date remains unchanged pending counsel approval.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BlastMeet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
By subscribing to any paid plan, you additionally confirm your acceptance of these terms. Your subscription payment constitutes your electronic agreement to these Terms of Service.
2. Subscriptions & Billing
BlastMeet offers three optional paid tiers:
• Starter — $3.99/month (15 daily connect requests)
• Pro — $5.99/month (40 daily connect requests)
• Unlimited — $15.99/month (unlimited connect requests)
Subscriptions renew automatically each month on the same calendar day you first subscribed. You will be charged through the payment method you provided at checkout. All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time — there are no cancellation fees and no minimum commitment period.
Cancellation is processed exclusively through the app. To cancel, go to:
Settings → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription
Your cancellation is processed immediately and automatically upon confirmation. Your premium benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again unless you resubscribe.
We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
4. Free Tier
The free tier of BlastMeet provides 3 connect requests per day with access to Music Friends/Discover mode only. No payment information is required to create an account or use the free tier. We reserve the right to adjust the free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use BlastMeet. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. BlastMeet LLC reserves the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Discriminate against or target users based on sexual orientation, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law
• Post false or misleading information about yourself
• Use the app for commercial solicitation or spam
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
7. Music Data & Privacy
Music Friends/Discover helps users discover people through shared favorite artists, genres, and music compatibility. Discovery is not based on sexual orientation or gender-partner preferences. Location, age, eligibility, and safety measures still apply, and BlastMeet does not guarantee that you will receive requests, matches, replies, or other connections.
The current updated app does not collect or display dedicated sexual-orientation or “interested in” fields. Legacy stored values may remain, however, and older clients or APIs that have not yet been retired may still transmit, expose, or otherwise process those values.
BlastMeet connects to third-party streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) solely to build your music profile and calculate compatibility scores with other users. We do not sell your listening data to advertisers. Your full streaming history is never shared with other users — only your selected top artists and genres are displayed on your profile. You may disconnect any streaming service at any time from your profile settings.
8. Profile Photos
By uploading a photo, you grant BlastMeet LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the app for the purpose of connecting you with compatible matches. You retain ownership of your photos. Do not upload photos of other people without their explicit consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
BlastMeet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BlastMeet LLC is not responsible for the conduct of other users, the accuracy of user-provided information, or any outcomes arising from connections made through the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlastMeet LLC's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Intellectual Property
All BlastMeet branding, design, code, and content — excluding user-generated content — is owned by BlastMeet LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.
11. Copyright (DMCA) & Repeat-Infringer Policy
BlastMeet LLC respects intellectual property rights and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
If you believe content on BlastMeet infringes your copyright, send a written takedown notice to our Designated Agent at
[email protected]. The notice must contain all six elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). Full instructions, the Designated Agent's mailing address, and the counter-notification procedure are published on our DMCA Policy page at https://blastmeet.app/dmca.
Repeat-infringer policy: We record each valid DMCA takedown notice as a strike against the user account responsible for the removed content. Any account that accumulates three (3) unresolved strikes within a rolling 12-month period will be terminated and the user permanently banned from creating a new BlastMeet account. In cases of egregious or willful infringement, we reserve the right to terminate an account immediately upon a single valid notice.
Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice may subject you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by local law.
